I was diagnosed with stage III cancer in August of 2013.. Over the next 11 months I received radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and multiple surgeries at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center. Still under the watchful eye of Dana Farber doctors discovered my cancer spread to my lungs in the fall of 2016 and again in spring 2018 -- after quick action and successful treatments by Dana Farber I am cancer free today! I ride to raise research funds so future cancer patients have even better treatment options and care then I recieve today.

I am a cancer survivor because of Dana-Farber and I am proud to be riding in my 4th PMC along with my daughter Brooke ( http://profile.pmc.org/ba0080 ). Brooke and I ride with Team Perry again this year, all of the funds Team Perry raises are dedicated to gastro intestinal cancer research. Last year we raised over $10k due to the generous donations and support from family and friends -- our 2019 PMC fundraising goal is to beat this total!
