Why I Ride ...
I will be riding in my seventh Pan-Mass Challange this August. I am a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. Like many of you, I have seen cancer take the lives of friends and family while dramatically altering the lives of loved ones left behind. With funding and awareness, research and treatment can continue to advance and we can work towards a future free of the devastating effects of all types of cancer. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has successfully melded support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors all working towards a common goal: to raise money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. I am excited to get back on the PMC route in person with my parents this summer!
