Dear Friends and Family,
This August, I am proud to say, that I will have the privilege of riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge for the thirteenth time as a member of The Arlington Angels Team. I will be riding for my wife, Nancy, who was diagnosed with breast cancer 12 years ago and received treatment at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I now know firsthand how important it is to raise money for DFCI so they can continue their research for life-saving cancer treatments. I will also be riding for my sister-in-law Colleen Lombard who also received treatment for breast cancer at Dana Farber. During this ride and my training, I will also be riding in Honor of Catherine Malatesta who lost her courageous battle with cancer and was a shining star in our community and her memory continues through her scholarship fund. #cattitude! I will also be riding for Patrick Doherty who lost his courageous battle to cancer and my friend Lt Dan Kelly lost his battle to this horrible disease.
Part of the PMC is the commitment to raise $6000 -- to help fight the battle against cancer. Cancer is a devastating disease that, unfortunately, affects each of us at some point in our lives.
I would like to ask for a donation at this time to meet my fundraising goal. Anything is greatly appreciated. This year myself and the Arlington Angels have two gigantic milestones. The Arlington Angels can break $1,000,000 in fundrasing in just 6 years as a team. I also have the oppurtunity to break $200,000 in personal fundraising for the Pan-Mass Challenge/Jimmy Fund. None of this would be possible if it wasn't for all of my family and friends who donate to me and this cause each year.
Please click on the link below to make an online donation. Alternatively, you can send a check directly to me (address below) payable to PMC/Jimmy Fund. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to the Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute to help all of its patients with clinical care and cancer research. All donations would be greatly appreciated.
THANKS.
