Hello all! I am back, for year number 8 (for me) riding the Pan-Mass Challenge. I so appreciate everyone who has donated. Last year, the PMC raised $75 Millon! It continues to be the largest athletic fundraiser in the world, and is indeed the lifeblood for research for The Dana Farber Cancer Insitute.
Every dollar goes 100% to research. The breakthroughs that have happened due to this fundraiser are staggering. In total the PMC has raised over $1 BILLION since inception...just amazing.
That said, our work is never done. This year, I count a dear sister-in-law, a younger friend who just retired from professsional cycling, (the picture of health) and two other friends through work that have been diagnosed. (And it is only March)
We need to push hard every year to continue to bring hope to all that are afflicted. Thanks in advance for any donations, looking for our team to show up strong again.
