I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue, $51 MILLION, went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless cmmitment to finding a cure.
At 15 years old, my world and my family's world was shattered when I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Thanks to the amazing Doctors, Nurses, and treatment options available at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund Clinic, I am stronger and healthier than I have ever been. Today, I am lucky enough to be an RN on the pediatric oncology floor at Boston Childrens Hospital, the same floor that once saved my life, and care for the bravest kiddos facing the same challenge I once did.
This year, in honor of the friends who fought beside me and the amazing kids I have the privilege of caring for today, I will once again be riding 168 miles across Massachusetts with Team FLAMES in the Pan Mass Challenge. Please help support my ride and the search for the cure!!
