Dear Friends,

Since joining Dana-Farber, I have had the privilege of joining its one-of-a-kind community of patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, colleagues, collaborators and advocates. The fight to conquer cancer is not easy and it is driven by each and every person who sets foot into these doors. Every day, I see the life-saving benefits of new treatments for our patients with cancer.

The need to support kidney cancer research is now more urgent than ever. Federal funding for kidney cancer research has been cut from $50 million to $0 through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs for FY25. Cancer breakthroughs cannot happen without funding.

As a medical oncologist, I am proud of the advances being made every day but there is so much more we need to do. 100% of every dollar you donate goes to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Funds for my ride are designated for Kidney Cancer research and I am proud to ride again this year as part of Team Ocean State Cancer Crushers in memory of PJ Hartley.
