Dear Friends and Family,

This year I will be riding in my second Pan-Massachusetts Challenge. The PMC is a very important charity to me and I am proud to ride in it. The basic goal for the ride is to raise money for cancer research, and that is what we do. I also ride to honor cancer victims and patients from the past and present. The PMC has raised $375 million dollars for the Jimmy Fund since the first ride, and the goal for the 2013 ride is 38 million dollars.

My time to beat for this year’s PMC is about 3 hours and 20 minutes. The ride is about 51 miles. It’s going to be tough to keep up with my mother, because she has been training hard, but she’s not as fast as she thinks she is. I’ve got youth on my side.

I am very passionate about my ride, and I would be very grateful if you could all help chip in with donations! Every penny counts, and it is all very much appreciated. Last year, my fundraising total was about $1,000. I would love to aim for the same amount this year, but I can’t do it without the support of my friends.
