I'm proud to be back in the saddle and riding with the Pan-Mass Challenge in 2023.
The mission of raising funds for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute remains the same, but the challenge this year will be a bit different. I'll be riding in September with hundreds of other PMC riders in the 2nd Annual PMC Unpaved. An off-road ride throughout the Berkshire's and New York.
I took part in my first PMC back in 2015. I enjoyed cycling and my employer at the time, MFS, was a major sponsor of the event. I thought it could be a great way to give back and raise funds for a great cause.
In 2017 when I returned, it was personal. My Uncle Dave had been diagnosed that March with Stage 4 cancer. Thankfully, 6 years after treatment, he is still cancer free!
My last ride was in 2018, and after a couple of kids and a pandemic, I'm back on the bike in support of Dana Farber.
My family and I can never thank the DFCI and their affiliated hospitals enough. Dana Farber and funds raised through the PMC have been essential in curing my uncles cancer, treating coworkers who are fighting their own battles with the disease, and keeping my friend's 3 year old daughter in remission.
Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated. The PMC ensures 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana Farber for cancer research and treatment.
Below are a few pictures from past PMC adventures as well as my Uncle Dave giving the blessing at our wedding back in 2017 while in the midst of treatment.
THANK YOU for visiting my PMC Page, and THANK YOU for all the support you've provided myself and other riders on previous rides and here in 2023!
