Why We Ride ...
The Pan-Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses Massachusetts. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has successfully melded support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors. All are essential to the PMC's goal and model: to attain maximum fundraising efficiency while increasing its annual gift.
PTC has proudly supported a PMC team since 2002 and for the 21st consecutive year, a group of PTC employees (past & present) will continue to raise money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Team PTC rides in memory of Carl Ockerbloom, Cheun Lee, Maya Shpilerman, Tammi Bond, Mark Brace and all other beloved PTC family who've lost their battles against cancer. We also ride in memory of far too many loved ones that we've lost and in honor of those who have been lucky enough to beat it. Great progress has been made in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, but there is so much more to be done.
Team PTC thanks its generous corporate sponsors
