About the Stem Cell Cyclists
In 2004, veteran PMC rider Martha Gold formed the Stem Cell Cyclists in honor of her sister, who had passed away in 2001 from acute myloid leukemia after having received a stem cell transplant. In the aftermath of her sister's passing, Martha's commitment to finding successful methods for using stem cells in cancer treatment led her to Dr. Corey Cutler and the leading edge research he is performing at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Since our inception in 2004, we have raised over $2,000,000 for Dr Corey Cutler and his team.
This year we welcome Skip Jones and his family to our team.. Skip is a recent stem cell recipient.
Kathryn Clark is our pedal partner. She is a young teenager undergoing two years of chemotherapy to treat her B cell leukemia. The bravery and courage of Kathryn and her family keeps us pedaling.
We welcome donations to this cause, and also welcome partners who would like to fundraise with us.
