Why I Ride....Let's End Cancer
I am looking forward to riding in the 2025 PMC - this time with my daughter Marygrace Pier-Daley! I will ride from Wellesley, MA to Bourne, MA on Saturday (85 miles) and then ride on Sunday with Marygrace on the Wellesley to Wellesley 50-mile route. This will be my 17th PMC raising funds for cancer research and treatment.
The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) is a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the world. The PMC was founded in 1980 and has since raised $1.047 billion for patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The event donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to the cause. The PMC's hope and aspiration is to provide Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers with the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.
Any financial support you are able and willing to provide would be greatly appreciated - not only by my wife Christine (two-time cancer survivor treated twice at Dana-Farber) and me, but by all those affected by cancer. Thanks so much for your help.
