Why I Ride ...
I started riding with the SolidWorks Team in 2003 to find a cure for this disease, not personally knowing anyone afflicted by cancer. In the last few years, I've known too many people and watched the effects that cancer can have on one's life and family; 2009 was especially heart-wrenching year, as my sister Pam was diagnosed and battled cancer - it was not my best training year ever, however thoughts of her helped me climb each hill. She's completed her treatments and is now a Survivor.
During my initial PMC years, I rode by a sign that will stay with me forever, Ride for those who will ride again.
