This year was my 35th consecutive PMC ride to benefit cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. It was a very hot and humid ride, but I am feeling very nostalgic about this milestone. Thank you to all that have donated and those that will consider helping.
Last year, one of the best signs waved at me along my 192 mile trek read, God Bless Chubby, Middle-Aged Men Pedaling for the Cause! That spoke to me. So, the tradition and the fight for a cure continues as my hair greys and the shorts tighten!
This is undoubtedly one of the most meaningful and important causes I support as all of rider raised revenue goes to cancer research. I ride in memory of dear friends who lost their battles, those still struggling and those who are survivors!
The PMC has been named the single most efficient athletic fundraiser in the nation - donating 100% of all rider funds raised directly to experimental cancer research and treatment at The Dana Farber Cancer Institute. To learn more about the event visit www.pmc.org.
Thank you very much for your consideration and support of my ride.
Warmest Regards, Todd
