Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading the charge to beat cancer. Since 2007 100% of rider-raised revenue has gone directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. For the last several years, the PMC has accounted for more than 50% of the Jimmy Fund's annual budget. Think about that. I am just one of many who have seen cancer devastate individuals and families. Initially, I decided to ride in honor and in memory of my sister in law Susan, who lost her battle to metastatic melanoma in 2000. She was only 39 when she passed. I still ride for Susan, however, there have been many other cases that keep me riding. The outcome for some has been sad, but more and more are positive due to the remarkable research being done at places like Dana Farber. Please support me and help make more of these stories end well.
