The 2025 PMC - Meeting the Challenge

Dear Friends -

On August 2nd and 3rd, I will be riding in my 8th Pan-Mass Challenge: 6,500+ cyclists and 4,000+ volunteers on the roads from Sturbridge to Provincetown, putting in the miles in the summer heat to raise funds for the groundbreaking research and treatments at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Because of generous corporate sponsorships, 100% of all rider-raised funds will go directly to Dana-Farber.

This will be my third year riding as part of Team Crank, and the Warren Alpert Foundation once again will generously match all donations, up to $750,000. Practically speaking, this means that your generous donation will be doubled!

I am dedicating this year's ride to multiple people: to my friend Jon, who passed away earlier this week (July 9th) after a 12 year battle with cancer; to Jaime, daughter of my good friend Joan, who passed away in the spring of 2023 to brain cancer; to friends Dave and Bret, who also succumbed to brain cancer; and to Aline and Christine, who have both battled breast cancer in recent years. I also ride with a list of names of many people - please let me know if you'd like me to add the name of someone special to you. All funds raised this year will go to Dr. Patrick Wen's Brain Tumor Research Fund at Dana-Farber.

I am deeply grateful for your support over the past 7 years, and would appreciate your consideration this year, as well.
