Susan Rousseau's PMC
Susan Rousseau (Coughlan)
I have been training for several months to prepare for the 79 mile PMC ride from Bourne to Provincetown. When I finished my first 50 mile race in 2019, my brother Steven was proudly waiting for me and my niece Megan in Wellesley where we finished. Sadly, he will not be there this year as he lost his battle with Prostate Cancer last year, when he was just 55.
We did our first PMC race in 2019 in honor of my brother Michael who had lost his life to cancer in 2018 when he was 60. My father was 41 when he lost his battle with Leukemia. All of these men had a profound impact on my life. They were amazing family men, ambitious in their pursuit of education and successful careers, loved sports and were proud members of the Air Force.
My sister and I are riding together this year to celebrate these amazing men and to raise money for this important cause. My niece Megan is also part of our team. She is riding from Sturbridge to Provincetown.
Please consider making a donation. Any amount can make a difference.
