My name is Steve DeRosa, and I am riding again this year on August 4th in the Pan Mass Challenge in honor of my wife, Kerri DeRosa, who passed away to Ovarian Cancer in May of 2022, after a seven-year courageous journey. My team and I will be riding as “Kerri’s Krew” and I am pleased we have added new riders to the team.
Kerri and I have two sons, Patrick, and Andrew. We were married for almost 27 years and together for 36 years since our senior year in high school.
Given what Kerri and my family have endured, I feel I have an obligation to share what I can about Ovarian cancer as I don’t want to see anyone deal with this disease for lack of information. It’s an extremely difficult cancer to detect, control and cure. Although there are advancements being made, there is no testing for this type of Cancer. There are signs however, which could be leading indicators in the early onset stage:

I have a goal to raise at least $2000 for this event and hope you can donate to this cause, in Kerri’s name. The PMC donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and has raised $900 million since 1980.
I am very appreciative for your kind donations last year and thank you in advance for your consideration again to donate what you can to find cures for this disease.
“If we can collectively save one life.”
