2015 was the first year I participated in the Pan-Mass Challenge. In the nine consecutive years since, I’ve raised over $60,000 thanks to the amazing support and kindness from all of you. Now, in my tenth year, I continue to raise awareness by wearing the PMC jersey and fundraising for the Data-Faber Cancer Institute in Boston, in the hopes that someday soon, they will find a cure for this scary disease.
I'm thankful to be lucky enough to join the other riders, along with the wonderful support and help from volunteers, donors, and of course family. We have all been touched at some point in our lives by Cancer, either through friends, family or even ourselves. I will be riding in memory of those who didn't win the fight and in honor of those who are winning or have just begun the battle. Riding the PMC is a positive effort that focuses thousands of riders towards a common goal and creates something much bigger than all of us - hope.
This year, the PMC hopes to hit the $1B mark since its inception in 1980. That's an astounding sum and yet, we still have more to do! So please join me and help make a difference for those we love.
I look forward to joining over 5,000 other cyclists in the largest athletic charitable fundraising event with 100% of all donations going directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. And I need your help to meet my minimum fundraising requirement for the ride on Aug 3rd! This year, I’m committing to raising a minimum of $4,000. Any contribution you can make toward my ride would be most gratefully appreciated.
If there is someone special to you that you would like me to ride in honor/memory of, please let me know and I'll be happy to include their name on my profile page.
