More and More Survivors!
Hello to All - This will be my 8th year participating in the PMC and I am a return member of Team Havin a Ball. I will be cycling the longest route (192 miles) from Strubridge to Provincetown over (2) days.
Over the years while participating in this event, the message has become clearer and clearer to me and my dedication grows stronger. When I first got involved with the PMC, I felt the importance was somehow drawn towards honoring those that have lost the battle with this devastating disease. However, as I became more involved and educated in the cause, I realized that the true mission is to celebrate the great strides research and treatments have made over the years by to turning the tide; and seeing more and more survivors.
I ride for those who fearlessly battle through treatment; I ride for those who are in remission; and I ride for those who are survivors like my son-in-law Anthony Magliozzi!
For these reasons, I am riding this year and every year that I am physically able to, so that everyone can have the opportunity to live a long and heathy life.
