Well, after a Global Annus Horribilis (2020),  my (mildly) concussed Self Designed 2020 Ride, and a HOT HOT HOT 2021, we return to a new normal PMC for 2022. Once again, Our Commitment - supporting the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Intitute's Mission, propels us along our ride. We will join nearly 6000 riders (and thousands of voulnteers) whose goal is to raise $66 million for This Cause. The Jimmy Fund and DFCI have been a New England center for cancer treatment and research, for both children and adults, for almost 70 years (http://www.dana-farber.org/Cancer-The-Emperor-of-All-Maladies.aspx).

I joined the PMC Mission, so many years and nearly 6600 miles, ago, in search of an outdoor challenge. Over the years, however, this event has become so much more meaningful. At first, I rode to honor and remember one of my closest friends, then, increasingly, more friends and family, and even some of their toddlers. In 1995, Cindy and I met at a PMC fundraiser, so the event has even more special meaning for both of us (well, for me – lol!).

We ride to raise money to support this great cause, but “we really ride for all of you, YOUR hopes, YOUR friends, YOUR family, both for THEIR future, and in THEIR honor.

Cindy and I have raised over $1.4 million, from so many friends, over so many years. Although tremendous progress is underway, The Fight is Not Over !!!!
