In memory of my sister, Anne Tuite.
TEAM ANNIE BANANIE
My sister, Anne (Chamberlain) Tuite, lost her life to colorectal cancer. This August 2 (the good LORD willing and the creek don't rise!) I will ride my 8th PMC in memory of Annie and in the honor of the WAY TOO MANY people I know who are currently in treatment for cancer.
Playing I Suck Blood From Hairy Woofernutters (neighborhood tag)...4th of July familly Wiffle Ball games... watching Steve (husband), Matt and Jack (sons) play and coach hockey and baseball...running marathons...careers in corporate fitness and teaching Middle School Health...Annie loved life and was always the spark at family gatherings.
After being diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, Annie said she would be honored if I rode the 2018 Pan Mass Challenge in her honor. Unfortunately by August I was riding in her memory. I have riden the PMC in her memory every year since, and plan to ride until I am no longer physically able.
Via the 2025 PMC, TEAM ANNIE BANANIE's goal is to raise over $11,000. 100% of our rider raised funds will go to cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute located at South Shore Hospital. Please click the link above (under my ugly mug) and join TEAM ANNIE BANANIE today. Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated.
