This year will be my fourth ride and the PMC's 46th Pan-Massachusetts Challenge. I will be riding the two-day 196-mile journey from Sturbridge, MA to Provincetown, MA on August 2nd & 3rd, 2025, with TEAM SIENA.
I will be riding and dedicating my fourth ride to our Pedal Partner Alex Young, who was our Pedal Partner last year as well.
Alex has had a rough start to 2025. At the end of December, he had scans that showed progression of the cancer in his brain and spine, luckily, his bone marrow biopsy showed no leukemia. He has been suffering from severe headaches recently and is currently on oxycodone and methadone to help ease his pain. Alex is an absolute trooper. He is still attending school and participating in the Boy Scouts.
Unfortunately, Alex lost his battle with cancer on April 12th.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Alex and his family every day.
Let us find a way to help end cancer. Last year, 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the USA, rasing $1.047 BILLION since 1980.
I will be riding as a cancer survivor again. I want to thank everyone who continuously supports me in my cancer-free journey.
Thank you for your support
Sincerely,
Peter Kiritsy
