This summer, I am back for Year 2 with the Pan Mass Challenge and am excited to be joined by additional colleagues at North Point and my husband, Peter! We'll be taking on the 2-Day route from Sturbridge to Provincetown, with a party in the middle at Mass Maritime in Bourne. I found last year's event to be an awesome, mid-summer adventure and I'm excited to be back this year.
This year, I am riding for friends, neighbors and their loved ones that have recently faced grueling and difficult cancer battles. It is difficult to stand on the sidelines and feel helpless as so many struggle with Cancer and managing some semblance of their normal life. Compounding with cuts to medical research both locally, in pediatric cancers and research, now seems even more crucial to continue supporting, even if my contribution feels small compared to the greater challenges ahead.

About the PMC: 100% of all rider-raised funds go directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. The PMC has raised $1.047 billion for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since its launch in 1980. Today, the PMC is the single largest contributor to Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund and is responsible for 66 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue.
