I ride in memory of both my grandmothers and in honor of my mom, a cancer survivor. My grandmothers passed away when I was too young to remember the incredible women they were, but their legacy lives on in my family. It was in their memory that my parents began riding the Pan-Mass Challenge 22 years ago. Just a year later, my mom was diagnosed with cancer — and incredibly, she still rode the PMC while undergoing treatment.

Now, 20 years later, I’m proud to ride alongside my dad for the same reasons that first inspired my family — long before I could even ride a bike. I ride for my grandmothers. I ride in honor of my mom. And I ride for everyone still fighting cancer today.
