I'm riding my 9th PMC for Team A Street Hospitality and for Dr. Barbie's research to help eradicate cancer.
I'm again dedicating my ride to my Dad, Joseph Eddie Enderle, who passed away on May 11th, 2023. Although he didn't die of cancer, he was a tireless champion for my Mom, aunts and grandparents during their fights with cancer. Dad is my Superman, and I miss him every day.
I'm also riding for Martina, my friend Chris's mom. Martina has been like a second mom to me over the years, and she is currently being treated at Dana Farber. They have been wonderful to her, and she deserves the best.
I am also riding for my good friend Richard, who overcame a difficult bout with cancer last year. I have been helping Richard get his strength back by coaching him through some hard weight workouts at the gym. Richard is an awe-inspiring example of what is possible!
So many of us have been affected by cancer. I've lost several family members as well as one of my best friends to cancer. I've also witnessed family and friends struggle with - and beat - cancer. I'll bet many of you have similar experiences.
That's why Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund are such beautiful organizations. They are committed to both treating and curing people with cancer, as well as to finding new therapies to one day eliminate cancer. I've run three marathons for Dana Farber, and 2021 will be my fifth Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), a 192 mile, two day epic bike ride from Stubridge MA to Provincetown, the tip of Cape Cod!
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. I have donated personally to this cause, and I hope you'll consider a donation of any amount to help us in this beautiful effort.
Please help us help everyone who is battling cancer.
Thank you and God Bless!
