When cancer strikes, we feel hopeless. Being part of the PMC community of riders, volunteers and donors, gives us hope for a future of saved lives and better outcomes.

This year, our family has 3 riders - Chet, Martin & me as well as 5 family volunteers - Karen, Sarah, Ava, Melissa & Nate - who help PMC weekend run smoothly. We are blessed to be a part of something so inspiring and powerful! We ride, volunteer and fundraise in memory of our loved ones who we have lost to cancer and in honor of our dear friends and family members fighting cancer.

Since I am busy working on PMC weekend, I will complete my Reimagined PMC by riding between 100 – 200 miles per week. So far, I have ridden over 1,000 miles and will surpass 2,000 miles by the end of the summer.

The PMC is the single largest contributor to Dana-Farber's Jimmy Fund, raising over $1 billion since 1980 and provides 66 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue. Given the impact of recent NIH cuts, this support is more critical than ever. Dana-Farber investigators played a substantial role in developing more than half of all cancer drugs approved by the FDA in the last five years. These breakthroughs save lives around the globe!
