Dear Friends & Family,
Today I've committed to raising money for cancer research by riding in the 2025 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). On the first weekend in August, I will join cyclists from across 43 states and 12 countries in the PMC ride, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston. I will personally be riding 25 miles from Wellesley,Ma to Patriot Place!
I ride to honor and support my husband, Ryan Ford, a fellow rider, who is a cancer survivor. He was cared for and successfully treated by Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, and watching him ride these past 11 years has been inspirational. His dedication and commitment to the PMC is amazing, and inspires me to ride, for the second year so that I too, can help the PMC raise money for cancer research.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, raising $1.047 billion since 1980 and $75 million last year alone! This success is the result of a lot of people riding for, and caring about, a cure. And because every penny matters, 100 percent of your donation goes to DFCI.
I've made a personal commitment to ride and raise $2,000. I hope you can help me achieve this significant goal.
