I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. In these times of uncertain federal support, private and charitable support for research is of even more critical importance.

I am happy to be riding PMC again for my second time this year! This is a big year for me -- 60 year-old body and 40 year-old bike. But these relics WILL make the 162 miles! I am again excited to be riding with my good friends (even more this year!) on the Wolf Greenfield Wolf Pack team, and privileged because as a Living Proof rider and 15 year kidney cancer survivor, I have been granted a gift of time and life that too many cancer victims do not get. The research supported by Dana Farber from funds raised from the PMC will help more cancer patients be long-term survivors. I ride for them, and for my wife, Debbie, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022 and is also a survivor. This year I have extra motivation (and heartbreak) as I ride in memory of my big brother David Pomianek, who died at age 71 in February of leukemia. This is personal, but beyond personal for me.
