In 2022 my family received devastating news. My cousin, Jennifer Crombie, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Jen is now undergoing treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI)/Brigham & Women's Hospital. My goal is to do anything possible to help. The Pan Mass Challenge, founded in 1980, is an annual bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Jen is an oncologist herself at DFCI. In her career as a physician and researcher, she has provided compassionate care to many cancer patients and has led clinical trials to identify new treatment options for the patients she treats. Jen has been riding the PMC for several years now. This year, along with other family members, I'll be riding for Jen and anybody else affected by cancer.
