My friend Jen, a mother of two young kids and an oncologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in early 2022. Despite her own health challenges, Jen continues to provide exceptional care to her patients and lead clinical trials, personally experiencing the impact of ongoing cancer research by participating in a trial herself.

I am proud to be riding in my second PMC this summer to help raise funds for the “Jennifer Crombie Fund for Ovarian Cancer Research,” which supports breakthrough research in low-grade serous ovarian cancer. Over the past two years, our team, led by Jen’s husband, David Berg, has raised over $250,000 for this cause. Inspired by their dedication, I am honored to join the team again for the PMC on August 3-4, 2024.
