Why I Ride ...
Thank you for visiting my PMC profile page. This is my 17th consecutive PMC event.
In my life, as like many of yours, I have lost friends and family untimely to one form of cancer or another. While it is difficult for me to think about these losses, it brings me great pleasure to know that by participating in the PMC, we can raise money for cancer research and treatment here at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and to support the ever-important initiatives of the Jimmy Fund.
I will be riding in memory of my father [Hal] who passed away in February of 2021; my grandfather Bernard Potrop who passed away in 1989 of kidney & liver cancer; my cousin Bob Stone who passed away in 2003 after a fight with leukemia; and my grandfather Les Grosshandler who passed away in 2010.
