I can not believe that this will be my 31st PMC bike ride. It is an event that I just cannot miss. This year I will be doing my usual two day 192 mile ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown, and have been training on my bike more than ever. The need for cancer research and treatment is still very real and this event raises awareness and funds to battle this disease. So far, this event has raised and contributed over One Billion dollars to Dana-Farber. It's pretty amazing!
The great thing about the PMC is that it donates 100% of all rider-raised funds to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. When I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2010, I completed treatment at Dana-Farber. Just weeks after finishing chemotherapy, I completed my 17th PMC ride. It is always incredible to me that I raised money for Dana-Farber and then received my treatment there. I am now a thriving survivor, thanks to Dana-Farber. That's why I ride!
For the past 30 years, I have raised $364,472. So my goal this year is to again raise at least $15,000 and bring my total close to $380,000. I am well over raising one quarter of a million dollars, thanks to you!
Please support my ride - when you contribute to the PMC, you are supporting the treatment and survival of so many people just like me. If you give on-line here it's great, but if you do not care to donate online, you may send a check made out to the PMC/Jimmy Fund and mail it to me:

Thanks in advance for your support. I know that I can count on you to help create a world with more cancer survivors.
