Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
This year Jacki and I are partaking in our first PMC ride. Over the years, we have met so many people who have or are currently fighting cancer. Some of these people started as friends and became family. As much as I'd love to say all these people are still with us, I, like many of you reading this cannot. The decision to ride is our way of honoring our lost family and friends. This group includes Aunty Lee, Matty D, Anca, and Monty. We also want to support those currently in the trenches battling this terrible illness like Nick Dal, Donna, Uncle Snoop, and Uncle Dennis. As a veteran, cancer has had a profound impact on past and current service members. This ride is also for them. We hope as PMC makes the Billion Dollar donation mark this year that a cure is just around the corner.
We are extremely appreciative of how you can support our ride and the PMC.
