My son, Alex Bamford, was diagnosed at the age of 16 with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare pediatric cancer, and Team A-Bam was founded in his honor. Team A-Bam is riding for the ninth consecutive year in 2025, which is fantastic. Last year, Team A-Bam had four riders and raised $98,000, which put us in the 'Heavy Hitter' category as a team for fundraising. Team A-Bam has raised over $1.6mm since its inception, thanks to the generosity and support of a large group of friends and family. We raised those funds thanks to your support - thank you very much!

Alex graduated from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan a year ago and is working in NYC for Guidepoint, a business to business consulting firm, as an Associate.
