Participating in the two day PMC had been a goal of mine for many years. Honestly, I was daunted by the high fundraising minimum even though the cause was so crucial. Finally last year my friend Allison convinced me to commit- to celebrate her 50th birthday. We figured it would be bucket list - just one and done. We worked hard and were lucky to get amazing support from friends and family to raise money for Dana Fatber Cancer Center.

Within the first five minutes of our ride I knew I'd be back. The incredible camaraderie of the other cyclists- the commitment of the volunteers, and the energy of the communities cheering us on every mile was beyond inspirational. I can't tell you how many times tears came into my eyes as o rode by sign after sign with pictures of loved ones reading (S)he's still here because you ride.

We are all affected by the ravages of cancer and it has hit my family particularly hard. I would very much appreciate any and all donations in support of my second PMC ride as we mark the twenty year anniversary of my mother's succumbing to her battle. Please know that 100% of rider-raised funds go directly to Dana Farber Cancer Center.
