I hope this note finds you and your family healthy and doing well.

This year, I am lucky to be able to fundraise and ride in my 18th straight Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), an approximately 200-mile, 2-day, bike ride that raises funds for cancer research at the world-renowned Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI).

Despite much progress in diagnostics and treatment (thanks to institutions like DFCI), the statistics remain scary. As a result, cancer touches everyone, either directly or indirectly. If fact, approximately 40% of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes and the mortality rate is about 60%.
