Family & friends,
This August 6-7th, I will be riding my bike 192+ miles as part of the 43rd Pan-Mass Challenge to support the Jimmy Fund. this will be my 24th PMC and my 13th year as part of TeamBrent. The PMC is the most efficient athletic fundraiser in the nation with a 100% pass thru rate. Every rider raised dollar goes directly to experimental cancer research and treatment at The Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This will be my 24th PMC and 13th year riding as a member of TeamBrent. After a couple years of ‘re-imagined’ rides, I am very much looking forward to joining many longtime PMC friends on the traditional 2-day route from Sturbridge to Provincetown. This year my goal is to match or exceed my 2021 fundraising record of $21,114 for the Jimmy Fund.
I rode my 1st PMC back in 1996 on a whim as a way to ride a century. What keeps me coming back is the mission. I continue to ride because, like everyone, I have too many friends and family who are either currently fighting cancer or who have been lost too soon. Undoubtedly, cancer has impacted your family or friends as well. Please consider contributing to help find a cure. You can be confident in knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to cancer treatment and research.
It is very easy to support the PMC - simply click ‘donate’ on this screen. All donations are greatly appreciated and are fully tax deductible. Most importantly, every donation makes a difference. If you would like to dedicate your donation in the name of someone dear, please send me their name in the note section of the donation form. I carry each name with me during the ride.
If you would prefer to send a check, please make your check payable to the PMC/Jimmy Fund and mail to: Kevin Sareault, 12 Old Farm Lane, East Sandwich, MA 02537
The PMC is so much more than a bike ride - It is a journey of hope and determination and a celebration of life and spirit while in pursuit of a cure for cancer. Thanks for your time and consideration. Please give thought to joining the fight to find a cure. It's out there somewhere - maybe just over that next hill...
Miss you Bud...
Kevin
