For My Son and My Dad
Friends: I'm riding my 15th PMC this year, once again with Joanne and our Pedals for Pediatrics teammates, in memory of our son Timothy and other children who have been lost to cancer. By riding and fundraising, we are trying in our small way to repay the kindness that our family experienced at Children's Hospital, the Jimmy Fund Clinic and the DFCI when Tim was treated for acute myeloid leukemia in 2007/08. I am also riding in memory of my dad, Jim, who passed away on February 21, 2021 after a battle with metastatic malignant melanoma.
I aim to raise at least $7,777 to support these institutions and their noble efforts to find cures. Thank you for any gift you are able to make and for your support of the search for a cure.
