After multiple years of my friend Emily trying to convince me to ride in the PMC challenge with her (and me telling her each year she’s crazy) I have finally decided to be crazy with her and do it! Together we will be riding from Wellesley to Provincetown, about 167 miles by bike to raise money for cancer research and patient treatment.

This is approximately 160 miles more than I have ever ridden on a bike and you might be asking yourself what made you decide to do it this year? I had always told Emily I would eventually do it with her, the time just had to be right. This year she sent her yearly text asking if I would ride the Pan-Mass Challenge the same weekend I went to a close family friend's celebration of life after losing their second battle with cancer. That is when I knew this year would be the right year.

100% of all donations go directly towards cancer research and patient treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. Your donation could help fund the research of a new treatment, help a patient pay their medical bills, and help me reach a goal of raising $6,000!

Everyone knows someone who is or has been affected by cancer. I ride for both of my grandfathers. I ride for my grandmother. I ride for my friends. And I ride the future you and me!
