This year I will be biking along Tom, my three children, Leah, Jessica and Amanda for The Pan Mass Challenge to celebrate my husband Toms 40thh year of being cancer free. The PMC raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Tom has been biking the PMC/190+ mile 2 day bike ride for the past 16 years. This year I have been training with him and riding beside him for support and gratitude. Tom has been my best friend for 37 years....husband for 31years.... father of our 4 daughters for 28 years. Tom was diagnosed with cancer in his senior year of high school. He was given an aggressive cancer treatment that gave him the gift of life. I was blessed that it gave me the gift of him. I will ride with Tom feeling grateful in so many ways that he beat cancer. I will also ride with those who have suffered enormous losses. I will ride with bikers who are hopeful and need a cure for their loved ones. I will ride with tears and a broken hearts for the faces of their losses. I will pedal harder and stronger knowing I can make a difference!
