I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.

As many of you know, we've had the challenge of battling cancer in our own family. Kate was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer over three years ago. Thanks to the care of an amazing team of doctors and nurses she has been able to lead a mostly normal life. Her continued survival is largely due to breakthrough drugs that have been devloped by studies at Dana Farber, Memorial Sloan Kettering, John's Hopkins and other research hospitals. Supported by the Lustgarten Foundation, which is dedicated to finding breakthrough pancreatic cancer therapies, these institutions are beginning to give hope to thousands of patients who are suffering from this terrible disease. And Pan-Mass has played a critical role in providing funding critical cancer research as well.

It's my good fortune to be on this journey with Kate. She is so strong. Fighting every day through the challenges confronting her with such a joyous outlook on her life.
