Why I Ride ...
This will be my third year riding the Pan-Mass Challenge, and I am humbled to continue riding all 192 miles in honor of a truly inspiring individual - Lee T. Hanley.
Lee was an innovative entrepreneur, generous philanthropist, and community leader. But above all, he was a family man. In 2012, after a courageous 14-month battle with pancreatic cancer, he passed away at the age of 70, survived by his wife, three children, and seven grandchildren. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Lee, I've had the true privilege of getting to know the beautiful family that he built, including his oldest granddaughter, my girlfriend, Chloe.
In just a short amount of time, I've observed first-hand the profound impact he had on his loved ones and surrounding community. I am moved by Lee's legacy and am honored to ride for him and all of those affected by cancer. I would be tremendously grateful if you would consider donating to this important cause and supporting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. Every cent goes directly to the foundation, and no amount is too small.
