Why I Ride ...
This is my second year riding in support of the PMC. Our team, is a dedicated group who ride with the hope that cancer will one day be eradicated. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in this event. I enjoy my training rides with my fiance Tim, and it is on those rides that I reflect on how cancer has affected my family, friends and those I ride beside during the PMC weekend. I ride with a heavy heart for those who have been burdened with this horrible disease, and for their families who show love beyond measure as they take the long journey with them. Most importanty, I ride in memory of my husband Bill who passed away in 2021 after a courageous 14 year battle with multiple myeloma. Finally, I ride in honor of and appreciation for the amazing doctors, nurses and staff at MGH in Boston who were magical in keeping Bill alive, comfortable and smiling.
If you would like to donate, please visit http://www.pmc.org/egifts. If you prefer to make a donation by check, please make it payable to PMC/JimmyFund and mail it to 7 Dorset Lane in Plymouth, MA 02360.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
