Hello friends and family!
It's that time of year again...
For those of you unfamiliar with this ride, the PMC is an annual bike-a-thon across Massachusetts with thousands of riders raising funds for The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in our unified mission to find a cure for cancer.
After taking a year off while I was living in Spain, I'm returning to the PMC in full force and riding in the 162 mile 2-day ride for the first time! With a longer ride, I have bigger goals and I have pledged to raise $6,000.
Three summers ago, my parents decided that it was time to start a team of their own - Team PopSciCycles. This year they are back and better than ever! All the funds raised for our team will go towards the McGraw/Patterson Division for Population Sciences. Not only do these donations go to an incredible division at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, but they also allow us to honor my grandfather who was a key contributor to the formation and growth of this division of the hospital. Visit our Team Profile page to read more about the McGraw/Patterson Division of Population Sciences. http://profile.pmc.org/TP0238
This year I'm riding for my cousin Nick, our team's Pedal Partner: Ellie Levine, Sharon Gallagher, my neighbors Barbara and Patti, and all those who fought and continue to fight against cancer.
Thank you so much for considering to donate to my ride! Let's find a cure!
Julia
