Why I Ride ...
Ready for Year 6 with the PMC. This past year has been full of hospital stays, brain surgery, two more stints of radiation, clinical trials, chemo, and so much love and support for Jim's cancer battle. He is still fighting after more than six years and I believe that Dana Farber is a significant reason why. His spirit and your support rank right up there too. We appreciate all you've given to the cause since I've started riding and hope you can do it again this year. So many of you ask what you can do to help our family and giving to the PMC is a tangible way to help us and so many other families fighting cancer. The disease has impacted our family so profoundly and I am glad that I have the chance to ride in the PMC again this year, and excited to share that my two oldest kids - Declan (DM0653) and Riley (RM0495) - will be joining me. Declan is going to ride the first day with me, and Riley the second. It should be a great weekend.
If you are able to contribute this year, do, and know that Dana Farber appreciates it as 100% of donations go directly to fighting cancer. I am encouraging people to donate to me, Declan, or Riley as we each have a fundraising minimum to meet. I will reach back out in about a month with an update on where each of us stands, and then encourage those who haven't yet donated on which one of us to support.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Jim's cancer battle and our family -
Jennie
