For the 8th year in a row, I will be riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) as part of Team CRUS11TOUR to support the fight against brain cancer.
Through the generosity of many of you, I have raised >$50k over the last eight years and ridden nearly 1,200 miles.
I started riding in honor of Davey Hovey, my friend and St. Lawrence lacrosse teammate, who lost his battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer in 2017.
I still ride to honor Davey, but like everything in life, my reason for riding has grown and evolved. In the last couple of years I've had two relatives who have needed surgery to remove brain tumors. I needed no further motivation, but I am as determined as ever to use my legs on a summer weekend to support them and help fight this disease.
Please consider donating at one of the links below to help support brain cancer research and treatments.
Cancer impacts us all and we need a cure. Every donation brings us closer by the mile.
With tremendous gratitude,
John Manning
