Last year I spent a lot of time at Dana Farber, as I was by my father's side as he valiantly fought, and ultimately succumbed, to his battle with aplastic anemia. What I observed on those many visits was a deeply caring and professional institution from the people who parked your car to every healthcare provider. The experience only inspired me more to get on my bike and train for the PMC. Two asks: First, please send me the initials of anyone that you love who has fought the battle against cancer. I will gladly wear them among the dozens of others on my shirt. All the intials provide me with fuel and inspriration during the 180-mile ride especially as the hills get steeper with each passing year.
