Why I Ride ...
This August I’ll be riding in the Pan Mass Challenge with Team Spin & Tonics. The Pan Mass Challenge is a two day, 192 mile ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown. We are all raising funds to benefit the research and treatment programs at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute through their Jimmy Fund Program.
I know there are a lot of good causes out there, however, we have chosen to put our collective support behind the Pan Mass challenge because we strongly support their mission. Many ‘charitable’ organizations pay themselves handsomely before any funds make it through to the actual charity. Every year 100% of the funds raise by riders like us were donated to the Jimmy Fund, we like that percentage. This year the PMC will cross the $1 Billion thershold!!
One way or another, Cancer has an impact on virtually everyone in their lifetime. You can help reduce those numbers by supporting our ride. If you’d like to make a contribution, you can follow this link to my fundraising page.
