I am excited to ride in my third Pan Mass Challenge this year and support their incredible mission to raise funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country - $972 million since 1980 and and a record breaking $72 million last year alone! As Dana-Farber's largest contributor, the PMC represents more than 64% of the Jimmy Fund's annual revenue. 100% of all donations go directly to Dana-Farber.
This year I'll once again be riding from Sturbridge to Provincetown as part of Team Duncan - 120+ riders consisting of Dana Farber doctors, nurses, employees, cancer survivors, patients, friends, and family members.
Team Duncan is named in honor of my best friend's mom who passed away from metastatic breast cancer in 2019. Duncan was a strong and passionate advocate of breast cancer awareness and research. After her cancer diagnosis in 2014, she founded Project Pink at her former company, OOFOS, which has led to more than $3.4 million donated to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. For more on Duncan's story please check out the link here.
While I ride in memory of Duncan, I also ride for my family members who battled cancer and continue to courageously fight today (Grandma Bobby, Grandma Jean, Grandpa, Uncle Pete, and Auntie Karen, among many others).
Thank you for your contribution!
