I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.

I am fired up to be riding again this year with Team Path for a Cure from Wellesley to Ptown. The Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber hold a special place in my family's heart, having played an instrumental role in saving my niece Olivia's life. Olivia (Brave Livy) was diagnosed with Leukemia just a day after her 2nd birthday. I will never forget the moment I received the call from my Mom to relay the news. As horrible as that moment was, the next few years I watched one of my heroes, at just two years old, fight for her life while somehow miraculously maintaining her sweet, loving personality.

I am honored to once again ride alongside my brother-in-law Jason, who along with my sister Christine were the most increible parents and pillars of support to Olivia and their other children, despite having to actively live out any parent's worst nightmare. I am also honored to ride alongside oncologist Dr. Andy Place, the head of Liv's amazing medical team. We owe him so much and I cannot wait to hit the road alongside him again.

In my third year participating in the PMC, I will be riding for Brave Livy, who thanks to the Jimmy Fund, Dana Farber and incredible donors like yourself, is now healthy and happy - we cannot imagine out lives without her. I also ride for her parents and 3 siblings (Hunter, Faith and Emma), who at such a young age took a complete backseat to allow our family to support Liv 100%. They, along with all siblings and family members of these cancer patients are heroes as well. Finally, I ride for my Mom (Breast cancer survivor), countless family and friends who have suffered from this awful disease and all of Liv's lifelong friends who she met during treatment, you truly don't know what strength means until spending 5 minutes with these children.
